and the deer must be damp

this rain will cause mopping

and mud thus to tramp

it's certainly welcome

but wow, it's a LOT

and tho me toe's chilly

it's better than hot :>

the forest now teeming

with drippy squirrel tails

and all the surprises

the rain brings to snails

so bring on the shprinkles

and fireplace glow

it feels just so right

to be back here, once mo' ..

Rain

Though your words give rain lift

the water runs swift

then cars start to drift

so sirens are singing

with help they are bringing

to drivers in danger

and all full of anger

because of their haste

and the time that they waste

they scream out at the rain

and call it a pain

even though we have drought

this rain makes people pout.

Thanks for the smile

Have the best

Rain:it's a love/hate thing...

Rain falling on rooftops and windows, lulls me to sleep. Finding out that my parking spot which is outside, is a foot or so deep in water, not good. The good news about that is the super who came to fix my garbage disposal gave me two assigned parking spaces away from there. Hopefully, no more treading water.

I'll bet them soggy bears aren't exactly blissful... but they'll be glad when the forest abounds with berries and new nibbles everywhere soon... :9

Outside all are getting wet,
But it gives us a thrill.
The woods are so deathly quiet,
The animals are still.

Humans say they love the rain,
But in my experience,
Humans love to watch the rain,
While warm, far from drenched.

Soaking bears, wet squirrels tails,
Snail's and damp deer!
The little creatures of the earth,
Soaked from ear to ear.

But then the water from the skies,
It breaks and clouds do part.
Sunlight streams through the trees
And its warmth lifts all their hearts.

But the clouds depart, the sun may shine.
These signs help foster hope,
But none of the creatures of the earth,
Will sing until a final sign is shown.

Then all across the damp landscape,
The creatures sing and cheer,
Looking up, they see the sign,
That the skies are truly clear.

It's not the clear sky, or the sun.
That cheers their tiny hearts.
But the magnificent image in the sky,
Of an eagle taking flight.

snail ears... hehee! *wingpats ya thanks*

Has pelted your fluff!
