the bears must be sopping

and the deer must be damp

this rain will cause mopping

and mud thus to tramp


it's certainly welcome

but wow, it's a LOT

and tho me toe's chilly

it's better than hot :>


the forest now teeming

with drippy squirrel tails

and all the surprises

the rain brings to snails


so bring on the shprinkles

and fireplace glow

it feels just so right

to be back here, once mo' ..

very very true.....
I'll bet them soggy bears aren't exactly blissful... but they'll be glad when the forest abounds with berries and new nibbles everywhere soon... :9
