Immediately.
Or at least in the next few days.
1. Do a backup.
Do a virus/spyware scan, then do a Backup.
If you don't have a backup system, at least use CDRs.
Or get a backup system.

2. Make a Restore Point.
If your system is too old to have this built-in, get Norton GoBack.

I've seen way too many people hurt lately by the torture if dying computers.
Please. You'll be glad you did.

*winghugs to those in need*.

You don't know me but since i'd looked in your journal about this topic i'd though i had to say something about this. after my first spyware incindent (this was before i knew i needed to take care of my computer). with my new computer i'd got from christmas. i'd had to use Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad Aware.

But later a nifty program called SpywareBlaster and that eliminated problems as well a Hijackthis for a interesting discovery of the RdxIE dll from realplayer (This came from an advanced search from Spybot)

And CWS Shredder, Winpatrol, and CCleaner. helped too.
and also this http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

hey.. no problem :>
