Or at least in the next few days.
1. Do a backup.
Do a virus/spyware scan, then do a Backup.
If you don't have a backup system, at least use CDRs.
Or get a backup system.

2. Make a Restore Point.
If your system is too old to have this built-in, get Norton GoBack.

I've seen way too many people hurt lately by the torture if dying computers.
Please. You'll be glad you did.

before online ouchies like viruses and spypoop,
there were hd crashes and modems on during
electrical storms! you wanna keep it? you get it
backed up or you get jacked up! >.o

Lost many a file meself over the years, and one for a college class during one of those electrical storms on campus, now that ya mention it 8| *yoicks*

Definitely not shakin' a wing at anyone here for not having goofed up big time meself now and then... *blushes beak*... Just wanna spread the wingful word in hopes of helping folks meet fewer and fewer shreds of agony as time goes on.. :>
