Immediately.
Or at least in the next few days.
1. Do a backup.
Do a virus/spyware scan, then do a Backup.
If you don't have a backup system, at least use CDRs.
Or get a backup system.

2. Make a Restore Point.
If your system is too old to have this built-in, get Norton GoBack.

I've seen way too many people hurt lately by the torture if dying computers.
Please. You'll be glad you did.

*winghugs to those in need*.

*hehheh... fluffs feathers* ^v^
Just a few saddening encounters with friend's and associate's machines over the last few weeks, mostly...
Also finally opened up a machine I had loaned to me bruddah last year, and found gobs o' spyware, virususses and adware on there too... ;P
Worst of all is that although I got those off of there, sometimes the sweeps can't repair all the damage. In this case I can't interpret javascript at all anymore. *snif*

I'm fairly sure a browser upgrade would fix it, but I've been trying to find a less intrusive way, and haven't yet.

But yeah... I jus' wish people could *use* their computers with less woes and hiccups, and backups/restore points can really do a lot to ensure dat ^v^
