My first complete one anyway :>
I've partially repaired a ceiling before, but this was my first ceiling tile install.

So, feeling a bit accomplished, though definitely a workout up and down the ladder and pressing those things up there and trimming sizes and so forth.

I had bought these things a couple years ago, but with the stay-home ethic I finally decided to give it a go.

They are mostly like this, and light as a feather :}
But it still takes about a minute of pressing upward before it sets... works them muscles!
Now to get some moulding to install at the edges.

I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I hope to take a similar approach to two more rooms, sooner or later.

As someone who has to perform ceiling checks at least monthly, I can tell you that drop ceiling tiles never ever stop shedding crumbs.

hehheh... yep, luckily these are not brittle or loose at all... just a styrofoam sheet, so it's not plaster or popcorn...
