gastroenteritis

I've had food poisoning before... tends to last 4 to 6 hours... no fun... but this gastroenteritis is a new bag for me... it lasts DAYS... and leaves you just wondering when you'll be able to eat again... ;P

Think I got it from a food handler at Del Taco .. have not had a problem there before but it will give me a lot to think about considering whether I should ever go to that particular one again..

Saw doc, got some meds, and currently on diet of bread and jello ;P

DAYS?!?!?! YOWSERS!! Was the doc sure it was food poisoning and not some other bug like influenza?

*nodnods* .. food poisoning seems to hit harder and faster.. so beyond wondering when I'll eat normally again, it's uncomfortable but not searing jabs to the gut like that can be. Definitely seem to be over the worst of it... hopefully by the end of the week I can get off of the mostly liquid diet.... :9
