I am an contralto myself. Altos are the lowest female register, and very useful.

But even before I ended up with a paralyzed vocal cord in surgery 10 years ago, singing music was not my forte. I was kicked out of a mandatory choir tryout in school because I was terrible.

....percussion is, however, where I do my best. Give me a marimba and yarn mallets!
