annoying folderations

Sometimes when a folder gets fouled up, it is VERY annoying to try to get it back into shape. With Vista32 and Win7 it's fairly stable, but once inna while it goes Haywire...

Now this site ( http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/138/1/File-names-may-be-hidden-when-the-view-option-of-a-folder-is-set-to-Icons-in-Windows-Vista.html
) provides some help, but it can still be clunky getting the Text Below the Images to Show Up again... ;P

...And with Vista64 ... just give up. There seems to be NO way to fix folder problems there, which insist on Constantly Changing the View whenever it has a whim to do so. ... ;/

Ubuntu doesn't have this issue.

Just sayin' :P

*Clicks like*
Although, in my experience, 100% of Ubuntu installs I have tried resulted in a fried mobo. ;)

I hope you can get it sorted out, friend!

BTW, I see my badge image in one folder =0)

I hardly ever use the Explorer anyway... much less different views. I use "Total Commander" for my file management needs and - since I have the license - Adobe Bridge for my image browsing needs. Othe then the typical "open/save file" dialog I don't see any of the Explorer UI.

Wow, I've never seen such a problem before. I've never heard of a file "fouling up" before. Hope you find a fix.
