annoying folderations

ceagleSometimes when a folder gets fouled up, it is VERY annoying to try to get it back into shape. With Vista32 and Win7 it's fairly stable, but once inna while it goes Haywire...
Now this site ( http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/138/1/File-names-may-be-hidden-when-the-view-option-of-a-folder-is-set-to-Icons-in-Windows-Vista.html
) provides some help, but it can still be clunky getting the Text Below the Images to Show Up again... ;P
...And with Vista64 ... just give up. There seems to be NO way to fix folder problems there, which insist on Constantly Changing the View whenever it has a whim to do so. ... ;/
