Bye Bye, Little Aveo . .

Yesterday, someone came barreling through a stop sign, and smashed up my little car. ;_;

I feel like I was hit by a drunk driver. You can drive carefully, but someone else can still come along and mess with your plans.

Please be extra careful out there, everybody :|

The air bag went off and worked well, although apparently if they deploy with a hole, they can spray scalding sulphur, so my hand was in agony for over 6 hours. I got some burn cream from the pharmacy, so I guess it might've been worse without it. I wished I'd known before, and could have hosed it off quickly to minimize it.

Many people came out from the houses, all very helpful, and the authorities were on the scene within 5 minutes.

The elderly lady who hit me was in a hurry so that she would not be late for her quilting class. She did not get there.

Oh my goodness! I'm really sorry to read that you were in an accident with your little Aveo! :( I'm also sorry to hear that your hand was burnt by that scalding sulfur!
