ceagleThat *awful awful* Samsung SL30 camera I wrote about... turns out I got it in early October, and so the 90-day return option is over at Target.
So I took it and donated it to the local Thrift Shop. Was sure to disclose that it takes nice pictures in lightweight situations, like indoors, but can't handle outdoors and extremes. Hopefully that will be good for someone.
next step: give it scathing reviews around the internet, mostly because the mild mediocre review I gave it at the Samsung site was rejected... "Oh! We can't have an honest range of reviews here!"....
It's too bad, because I hadn't encountered a bad Samsung product before, but this makes me gun-shy.
Will prolly replace it with a Canon or Fuji when I get around to it.
