Like, watching a volcano erupt, or, watching a jellyfish swim, ....or, seeing a wild mountain lion trotting along in the road in front of you.
Yep, first time in all these years.... I've seen just about everything here, but tonight was my first puma sighting.
Wow... that thing was beautiful.
But..... I sure hope it's gone 8|

another friend of ours found both of her dogs killed by one... but she lives far further into the woods, on forest land.

Date: 2006-11-10 05:02 pm (UTC)Fortunately for me (and Rondo) coyotes are wiley and with a high level of self-preservation, so they might chase a dog or harry him-- but they generally don't go out of their way to attack or kill full-sized dogs. There was even a young male coyote that used to court Frieda at times.
