OMG Kimba and Astroboy! I loved Kimba, but never got into Astro-boy. The idea of a hero who had a gun that poked out of his ass was just something I couldn't handle!
:D

haha! :D

can't say that I've ever seen *that* effect on the show... 8|
I thought the jets always shot of his shoes... *fluff*
I enjoyed Kimba shows more also, leading off with that enchanting opening theme :>
...although it was hard to see them usually, because they were on UHF out here when I was a kid, and we had very poor tv reception.. and astro boy was off the air by then, too.. we just had Kimba and Speed Racer and Gigantor in this area. :>

http://www.astroboy-online.com/powers.php is the link, the guns are supposed to be on his hips - but I say they fired from his ass! :D

That series, Kimba, Marine Boy and Speed Racer (and Ultra Man, while I'm adding non-Tezuka series to this list) made the most impact on me as a young child, of various stuff on T.V. I recently found you can buy unofficial DVDs of Amazing 3 episodes.
