ya know that "Michelle" song they did?
...the other day on a morning radio show, the deejay was doing a bit about songs with indiscernable lyrics, and even though I've known this particular lyric for a long time, ...he played this one portion of the song several times, and declared as he sang over the lyric, "give it a try.. it *totally* sounds like 'Sunday Monkey won't play piano song, won't play piano song...'" ...and it really matched!! LOL!

Ohh.. I'll probably butcher this, but let's see if I remember how to spell the French

Michelle, ma belle,
sont les monts qui vont tres bien ensemble,
tres bien ensemble

Actually, the French was contributed by Ivan Vaughn's wife, who was a French teacher (Ivan Vaughn was the guy who introduced John and Paul to each other all those years ago). Paul had actually written the song awhile before then, it being his "French" song, but it was titled for Auntie Gin (who later gets mentioned in Wings' "Let em In"). However, when he actually wanted the song to be put into consideration, he knew he had to come up with a better lyric. So he worked on it, and asked Ivan Vaughn's wife what the translation for "These are words that go together well" would be. And with minor alteration, they fit tres bien ensemble in the song. :)

hehheh ...I took Spanish ;>

Naw... that's very good! *wags*
I knew it was French, but I wasn't sure what it meant..

...and the world.altavista.com Babelfish Translator has a slightly more seductive version of the translation than 'these are *words* that go together well...' ;D
