I guess it's worth mentioning
Oct. 18th, 2019 02:19 amI built one of those car protector rigs... sort of a glorified tent, consisting of a tarp, some metal and wooden posts, and tied-downs with augers.
For a while I've been wanting to add some shade and try to keep the car(s) a bit cleaner when parked, so we'll see how well it does.
The last tarp-attempt did not go well, mostly because it was huge and also not secured at every grommet.
This one is half the size and secured about as tight as I can imagine, so I hope it holds up, and when it rains, I hope it will drain instead of becoming an above-ground lake (built an angle into it so here's hoping...)
