Hi folks!
mortonfox used to do these every so often, but I don't see him around here as much as he used to be...
Well, that goes for a lot of us :D

I still have a full page of Friend's postings to read when I come here usually (around 25 a day) so I know there's still plenty people using the place...

Most active now on Tumblr where my Bambi blog has 492 followers, and Young Nick Wilde has 622 followers. I think maybe 2 dozen people tops read my stuff here. Despite that, if I want to do any long-form blogging, this is the primary place I'll do it.

Wow,.... thanks for the info!... I guess I had not realized you were over there (and I'm thankful you remain here too, for its usefulness). As you can see, I'm about at 2 dozen people too.. though some of the other "randoms" have not checked in yet (a few over at DreamWidth).
Tumblrr was tempting... but it's kinda like a combo of Facebuk PLUS Twitter ON STEROIDS... :D
In other words there's SO much stuff there, I'd never do anything else. I forcibly keep myself off Facebok since it's such a horrid interface, but so full of stuff it is also detrimentally consuming.

I'm also grateful for the Poll responses here... some from people I didn't even know still read (and for which I am glad they do) ... though I wanted to make a Public Service Announcement for those who read somewhat randomly:
Both here AND Dreamwidth have code that only lets you read your Friend'sPage back about TWO WEEKS worth... so it might be good to consider coming at least once a week if you don't want to miss entries, ..otherwise ya need to visit individual pages to catch up.

*smile* I post on Tumblr, but I don't look at what other people post there. I use it like a personal online album of favorite images, that others can browse if they want to, but it's mostly just me blogging pics I like. I do that on LJ, too, of course, but if I posted about Bambi or Young Nick here as much as I want to, people would probably just filter me out. So Tumblr's better for posting often about specific subjects.

I'm on Facebook mostly just to read the Greymuzzle group, which is great. That's actually my main source of news about things that are going on in the fandom these days. LJ used to be the nexus for that kind of info, but that ended a long time ago.
