I recently picked up this amaaazing heater on eBay ... and it is Awesome!

I think it is circa 1930s or 1940s ... Previously I was using some more recent one with a fan in it that blows the hot air out, and draws 1,300 watts.. yikes... So with all that blowing it was counteracting the warmth... plus this recent one only draws a consistent 330 watts! Keeps the legfeathers and talons from getting too cold... love this spiffy heater!

I do gain the impression you have survived more rigorous climes than at present.. ^_^;

ooo, I do love your vernacular...! How often do we get to hear "climes" over here...? :D .. *wingfuzzles ya* ...
Indeed, I've traveled and run quite a range! .. Though specifically.. during all our growing up years, the family had *no* house heater except for a wood-burning fireplace, ... so sometimes in the morning we'd just sit by the open oven in the kitchen, instead of going to the trouble of stoking a big fire before breakfast.... :}
