I recently picked up this amaaazing heater on eBay ... and it is Awesome!



I think it is circa 1930s or 1940s ... Previously I was using some more recent one with a fan in it that blows the hot air out, and draws 1,300 watts.. yikes... So with all that blowing it was counteracting the warmth... plus this recent one only draws a consistent 330 watts! Keeps the legfeathers and talons from getting too cold... love this spiffy heater!

Spiffy! Might be tough getting replacement parts for it, though. ;)

I've had a few space heaters over the years... we have a SuperLectric from the 50s or 60s in the bathroom.. it's one of those "fan blows out the heat" ones, but since it's an enclosed room, all the heat stays put and it warms up in there nice and fast for showers and baths *wagglefeathers*... These things are so simple they pretty much never die as long as you don't abuse them.
