LJ friends page fix

Some of you (Martes and Calicougar) inspired me to try a URL fix for the FriendsPage display troubles, and it worked!

So for any of you still having problems with it showing up right, try http://YOURUSERNAME.livejournal.com/friends?skip=0 and it should show up the good ole way it has in the past! *tailwags*

I think it's coincidence - /friends stopped redirecting to /feed some time yesterday!

It's still broken on mobiles, of course, in that it won't scale like it once did.

Maybe, what they call Air just redirects to /feed - which scales, but takes forever, horrible. Without looking I guess it's loading content (and god knows what other crap) with js. To me that isn't how the web should work, it's an abomination.

Opting to view friends in my own style, which always used to work, now seems to have gone fixed-width or something, basically making it impossible to read even in landscape.

I suspect that's deliberate.

Which theme do you use? I'm on either Rainbow or Gradient Strip, which might not be available any longer - I set mine up when I arrived, and haven't changed it since. ^_^ But, it's still working as before, both on the MBP and iPad, so it could be just a bug - try submitting a support ticket, and see what they say.

Theme? No idea! I set it half a lifetime ago. Maybe I didn't even do that.

...apparently I'm using Style 1, which is depreciated. I have what looks like the one-way option of changing to S2.

Ok, it doesn't really matter at this point, I hardly use the thing. But I'm still loathe to opt-in for even more js-powered crap.

*sigh* still looks the same: it defaults to livejournal.com/feed/. I tried the display switch mentioned by porsupah and nothing changed with that. I figure they'll make more changes again anyway, so I'll deal with it :o)
