ceagle"Public Storage" just ran an ad on TV with the slogan, "we'll treat your stuff like our stuff".. and I just had to Blurt with an uncontrollable spit-take laugh!!
When I had my stuff there (in the 1990s) they DID just that!... Turns out some of the managers had an inside-scheme where they were busting into people's lockers and pretending it was outsiders... until they got caught!.... Happened TWICE to me before I hustled my stuff outa there... the first time they were just casing the joint.. second time I lost some 1984 Olympics stuff.. :/
Probably a lotta other people fared much worse, but I never heard if they were fined or jailed or what...
