Oh, dear. The problem with being hatched with a beak instead of lips. ^.^

Then, I always figured that if birds invented the kiss, they'd do it differently - nibbling each other on the face, probably, instead of locking beaks. It'd be a pretty intimate gesture, since the face is a vulnerable spot. :-)

Well, they do preen each others' heads. And ravens use beak-holding as a form of pair bonding. So in a sense, they did!

My Lorikeet kisses with his tongue. It tickles. Having your eyebrows preened is pretty weird too.
