If ya haven't heard, "Let It Be - Naked" was just released, a simplified version of the original release of The Beatles album.
While I enjoyed it, particularly the "Across the Universe" selection, overall I still like the previous production better, methinx.

Now for a whopper of an album, the also-just-released "Concert for George (Harrison)" was stunningly listenable. The capable crew rendered this performance with extraordinary power.. and almost had me in tears for the delivery of "Something" by Clapton, McCartney and crew.. *fluffles*

Both of these albums should still be on sale this week at Tower Records (or Norwalk Records, a link on my web page, if ya wanna support a good small town merchant).

best wishes!

*peep*

Thanx for the note :>
Indeed.. it was a brief record. Though it does have a 20 minute sorta rambling vocal CD also included.

As for the Let It Be movie.. wow... I'm sure I've seen that, but maybe it's just been on TV and not video...

The Tribute to George is also a two disk set, with the first one being about a half hour of sitar music, and the second one getting to the rock n roll stuff. Very good performances!
