but I was at a friend's house for a few minutes tonight and they had it on... anyone else catch that part where they were hauling around a pelican that was so tame it was like a housepet? They had to keep picking the thing up and moving it out of the tents! *chuckle*

Yep, I saw that! So funny... and even funnier was the guy that was afraid of it and was standing around sharpening the machete! Compensating for something, perhaps? :P

Yeah, that was pretty stupid! What did he think the pelican was going to do, attack them? On the other hand, I was sort of surprized they didn't try to cook and eat the pelican!

Remember, he'd been bitten by animals in the past... :/ What a LOSER WIMP. When he gets back to the States, that guy is never getting laid again...

Morgan tribe DID kill and try to eat a pelican at one point, but I guess they're not going to show the footage. The dialogue last night suggested that had already happened... something about "another pelican" or "this pelican" or something like that. The network decided not to use that footage... and as it is, they couldn't have eaten it... the camera crew had to explain to them that seabirds are riddled with parasites and it wouldn't be healthy to eat, even if they cooked it.

I don't get to watch them too much, because we are usually at dinner during that time, and if I were to tape it, I would have a hard time taping over, and.. well.. there would soon be too many tapes! ;D
