The ongoing saga of the misguided meal mascots

One of the funny themes that intrigues me is the bizarre concept (what were they thinking?? will they ever learn?) of companies that use a critter on their menu to sell the food... I've reported on this before, and as your devoted journalist, I intend to keep you posted with every new known revelation :D ... And here's the latest........



He seems thoroughly enthralled to be pawning off a well-cooked ..who? Maybe that one in the skillet willed itself to be served up as a tasty-useful part of the afterlife?.. Maybe like in that Heinlein book... who knows...

If that wasn't goofy enuff, their previous logo is still printed on the receipts...

This fellow seems to be rather maniacally enjoying the act of dancing around in those flames! Makes me wonder if this logo was the inspiration (or vice versa) for an SNL skit... http://www.hulu.com/watch/2317/saturday-night-live-cluckin-chicken

Maybe your poster chicken is a member of the chicken-mafia. "Dis is wat happens when you cross da family, capiche?" Ending up in a styrofoam coffin with a side of corn......
