Sometimes it's a matter of just finding people. I find using the "friendsfriends" option sometimes points me to people I didn't know were on Lj yet.

It is a lot nicer than newsgroups, isn;'t it?

*nod* *nod* and *nod* to alla that... much better than newsgroups, for both finding actual interesting pertinent things, and the quality of reading too.

If you mean by friendsfriends to simply look at friend's pages and read some of their friend's pages too (I don't know if there is some other search option you might be speaking of for paid accounts), yep.. that is a nice pastime.. at least it was early on. I'm now at the point where I think just the reading I have here usually fills the pleasant allotment of time I have lately for LJ reading :>
it certainly is a lot better than trying to find friends by interest search... man, was that a scary night. Just looking under 'hugs' you can find some cwaaaazy peeples listed ;P I think I'll stick to friendsfriends, like you suggested.

btw, while I have this opportunity, let me also say how much I like reading your detailed prefaces in each Huzzah :> Looking forward to this latest copy too.. If you could slip one over to Cali when they are available, that'd be great.
