alas, it was not a connection-karma day

I set forth yesterday with hopes of getting together with some folkses, but the fone-feng-shui just wasn't cooperating...
Two text messages didn't seem to arrive.. I sent them out after midday, then headed over to Orange County.. then tried two more phone calls.. the fourth contact went through, but by then it was too late to meet up... then later I called another person hoping to catch 'em for the evening, but it also went to voicemail and I didn't hear back.
Even on a whim I decided to drive out to the second destination, but I couldn't remember the cross street. :D

Luckily there was a collector's show in Orange County also, so I went there for a couple hours and plopped down around fifty smackers for animation knik knax.. Apologies also to the well-intentioned and inviting O.C. folks, as the day before I didn't have my phone on... apparently another facet of my faulty-fone-shui... *peep*

There was one final phone success for the day, as the karma relented, as I got to chat with neocanis for a while on the drive home, hands-free, blue-tooth, tip-top, jib-jab, wot-wot, pip-pip and all that...

Awww, too bad I was still flying at that time...my 2nd brother left me a voicemail, even though I left an away message that I wouldn't have my phone with me. Go figure...

Very sorry about all the miscommunication! Neither Brian nor I have the use of text-messaging on our phones...it's an extra expense that we've decided to trim from the family budget.
