Animal Planet seems to be showing a story about a fellow who has befriended a wild fox, and they hang out together as this fellow patrols a wildlife preserve. The show might be called "Banjo Country" or "The Grizzly Man Diaries".
If you are missing it, hopefully there will be a repeat.

I think that's the show about Timothy Treadwell-- the nutty guy who thought he was able to commune with the grizzly bears-- until one of them killed and ate him.
