just musing random thoughts..
Aug. 9th, 2008 01:40 amharry potter on in the background with mom listening, and I've finished reading lj for the night, guess i'll go to bed...
Friday
My theory continues to hold up... Fridays are the quietest night of the week on the internet.
Then again, RL is good usually. Party on, Garth :}
Music
Music-related posts are the quietest posts as well. My theory on those is that people go off to listen and get on a different track and thus are less likely to comment. Or, maybe on the other hand, they represent too much trouble, and get passed by a lot of the time. I don't know which it is.
Art
Currently looking forward to commissions by Wolphyn, Goldy, Suzi, Scott.
Time
The time of day has a lot to do with how many people read entries too. Some people read in the morning, some at night, and many just limit themselves to going just a few entries back, so ya may miss yer target audience, depending on the time you choose to post.
Work
The top dog at work just asked me to put in even more hours. I guess that'll be nice. It might be that they like my performance, or it may be that he noticed how few hours I put in during SDCC (convention week). Maybe it's both. Or neither. heh
Wheels
Just got new tires last month, and hit something like a nail-gun cartridge, putting several nails in one of them. They couldn't save it. New tire, $70.
Leg
The operation on dad's leg seems to have been a success, so his circulation is coming back, albeit a bit painfully at first.
Thanks
To friends for the bits of cheer you've been to me in numerous ways this week, and more, whether you did it this week, or via good memories shining again from times before.
Tomorrow
Someone I know wants me to come check out the work that's being done on their mountain cabin tomorrow. Maybe I'll go peek.
Nigh Night... ^v^

Congrats on your dad (double-y so: you hardly mention him-- I had assumed he'd passed on!)
