I was rather frustrated tonight, reading about the Hydrogen Highway, previously hopeful it was a closer reality than it now appears. Sure they have some refueling stations present and planned... capacity? 2 cars per day, 5 cars per day, one even 20 cars per day. ;P so like, wtf?
And the Honda hydrogen car is still only planned as a 3 year lease, and you can only participate if you live in one of three cities.

*sigh*

EVs have always had a lot of geeky appeal for me. There's a basic problem with them that no one ever seems to mention, though. They make the most sense for people who live in fairly dense urban areas. But these are exactly the areas where a majority of people don't have a single-family home with its own garage so they can plug one in at night.
