ceagleTilton located a vid showing pet otters on a trip to a fish restaurant for otters! I guess they can be similar to ferrets as pets.
I remember when I was growing up, a local pet store did sell otters.. it was fun to watch them playing there :}
Never did know anyone who owned one though!
