LJ suckage

I'm not *as* mad about the LJ idiots removing Basic accounts (though it DOES stink), but they've Broken Functionality for the last couple days in the Adult Filter Access!!!!!!!

Whether in I.E. or FireFox, whether on Mac or Windows, I cannot click-advance through the "yes I'm over 18" filter page... it just keeps refreshing the same Over and Over!!! ;/

Geeeeesh LJ!!! What idiotz.... >:|


edit: one small observation is that the problem seems to *maybe* be a problem with referrer pages, but it's inconsistent.
1) accessing adult pages from a blank page is broken
2) accessing adult pages from a community page seems to work
3) accessing personal user pages however, doesn't seem to work though, no matter what the referrer page ;/

I still haven't totally recovered from your bad news about the trouble of downloading a post and its comments. I still haven't started archiving my own journal, and I think some entries from my trip Down Under have vanished! :(

Make sure you have cookies enabled for personal-user.livejournal.com. If you don't, you will not be able to load a page behind an adult filter.

Apparently they're taking away alot of cool features that are so simple basic users should have em. =< I dont mind paying the $20 for my journal, but Id like to feel that its a bit more of a secure investment. I almost feels like Im paying for something with an uncertain future even though Ive had my LJ for 6 years.

I've got a basic account and I haven't had any trouble accessing stuff. I use Safari or FF with OS X. As for the age restriction page, I'd guess they're just trying to cover their collective backsides. *snugs ya*
