Done with Post Office shipping
Oct. 17th, 2013 06:20 pmI ordered a glass pyrex double-boiler online so I could make one of my grandmother's special old recipes... the eBay seller packed it well and (luckily) priority mail is automatically insured up to $50.
Even with FRAGILE written all over the package, they still managed to, not just bump it around, but actually Puncture it on several sides, so some sort of spear must have Entered the package, repeatedly, to shatter the bubble-packed glassware.
I think that's all she wrote, as the saying goes.
I am going to ask all future shippers if they would be willing to use other services besides the post office, or, at the very least, insure for higher amounts.
;P
