... I was going through some older entries last night and was musing over
THIS one... puzzling the curious statistic that noone who answered the poll had ever heard "I've Told Ev'ry Little Star" or "Whispering Bells" ...
I wonder of anyone has heard 'em by now a year later ? ... :}

Must've missed that post.

Date: 2007-10-22 04:39 am (UTC)They had a big hit which got lotsa airplay out here, called "Tonight, Tonight" ..which should be pretty easy to find on oldies collections or online references.. great song! That b-side "chip chip" is pretty catchy too, but it was probably a throw-away ditty, with laughable lyrics.. but the flip side is an absolute standard :>

Date: 2007-10-22 10:48 pm (UTC)Although clearly I know your 'tonight, tonight', but the voice is wrong to me. There is a slight speach impediment to me to the one that you have there. I am thinking I must know a later version by the chevelles or the chiffons or some such. Drawing a blank though. Good tune, nevertheless.
Thanks!
