Dinotopia the TV series

We just got finished watching the TV series, which lasted one season...

...to find out it ends on a cliffhanger!! 8|

rarrrrgh..... now what!? *wings to face and shakes head*
Ah well.. lotsa neat imagery n stuff... even if the story is left completely up in the air... oy!

EDIT: Apparently this show went up against Friends and Survivor, so it had very little chance from the get-go 8|

Heh. It wasn't that great a series, and the cliffhanger will probably go forever unresolved.

They did the same thing to a much better (IMHO) animated series called Pirates of Dark Water. It didn't quite end on a cliffhanger, but the primary quest/story arc was only about half done when the series was canned, which really sucked.

True Nuff... Guess I'd give it a B- or C+ for overall concepting, but a definite A for CGI-effects-budget-in-just-a-TV-series. I felt the dinosaurs were done quite well, considering, and was rather enchanted by the accomplishment/presentation of the Zipeau character especially.
