I've been wanting to do this for some time, so here off the cuff, is a leetle list of which I feel currently could be considered my top ten favorite songs...
10 You Do or You Don't ... Lindsey Buckingham
9 Anchorage ... Michelle Shocked
8 Crazy Without You ... Pure Heart
7 Wolfgang ... Pete Droge
6 The Angels Listened In ... Crests
5 Lodi ... CCR
4 The Way the World Would Be ... Glenn Yarbrough
3 I Should Have Known Better ... Beatles
2 Truly Do ... David Lindley
1 Summer and Lightning ... ELO
There's probably a lot more ELO, CCR and Beatles that could go here too :> I'd highly recommend checking out any of these that ya haven't heard of yet, also. Of course this sort of list changes throughout one's life, but this is a pretty good summation of 'em for now :>
Hope ya enjoyed!...
Now how about yours? :D (or comments/questions on these songs are welcomed too...)

But Professor, I want more than ten CDs!
Date: 2003-02-01 05:21 am (UTC)Great example, me friend.. yep, that's why I qualified it by saying it can change over time, but at this moment in time, those are the ones I'd most likely grab.
Although.... I'd probably miss a lot of the hawaiian music I've been diggin' the last few years .. :P
Guess I'd haveta start a CD-in-a-bottle exchange with BMG Music or Columbia House, so I could get new CDs on the island every two weeks... 8>

Date: 2003-02-04 03:10 am (UTC)Ok, I still owes ya a List of some my D.I.Ds, but I've been a wee more bzy than usual - my NT server of 3+ years is finally at death's door with a fatal dose of Kruft.
Tnx to one of
This is important since that box not only hosts some mundane web pages, but most critically also hosts Scott's high resolution image archive of 21st Century Fox. It's become a pretty popular feature for the fans, so I was under some pressure to keep that site on line.
I was going to go to Win2K, but Tegeran ponied up and volunteered to uber g33k Redhat into submission for me, yays :)
I've spent most of tonight (it being 3:10AM, ack!) copying off 8GB+ of files off the wounded NT box onto a backup on another 'puter. Still some clean up chores and stuff for me to go but once those are done, I'll do an Arnie and Be Back :)
CYa!
