I'm still wiping the tears outta my eyes... :( I really liked him.
I tried to get through to the Australia Zoo website to give my condolences, but I can't get through- everyone else must be trying to do the same thing. I did find the Animal Planet forums, though, and there are some topics there that show the huge number of people he touched worldwide...

Yep... it's definitely unfortunate. I guess the moral of the story is "don't make a career out of making body contact with animals that can kill you." He was a great influence and a great "character" for sure. Hard to imagine a world without him, honestly.
