Just the other day I was pondering if something like that was possible!

Apparently, it is... but I wonder if it works in all kinds of records, such as transparent... and even a flexible one I have that is recorded in a paper-thin sheet of something that looks more like regular plastic/rubber than vynil ^^

But why so MUCH? I don't get it. How expensive could they possibly be to make? I can get a CD player for 50 bucks. Isn't the technology concept the same (laser) or am I missing something?

I have 2 cases of LP's that I'd love to be able to play and not wear down.
