I just this minute on Animal Planet, see that the winner of smartest animal on the planet, is a New Zealand parrot called the Kia ! :D *wags tail feathers* Even smarter than chimps they say..
"A Different Icon in Every Box, of SugarFrosted Swan Cereal!.. new, from Quacker Stoats" "Packed with 10 essential flightamins, and the recommended daily allowance of cheer!"
Unfortunately the people of New Zealand wouldn't agree with this. Kias have a reputation for devouring cars and houses. But they're protected so they can't do anything about it.
Wow! :D I thought it if it were a bird doing that, it would surely be a roc! *chuckle* I guess they'd have pretty good reason to be cynical about these mischievous critters then...
So um.. If a kia eats a Kia, is it a kannibble? *hugs n scritches ya*
I keep telling my feline friends all along about how we feathered folks are the smartest creatures on the planet. But do they listen to me? Nooooooo. :>
Thanks for the correction in spelling, Whyrliebird.. :> It was on tv and I didn't see any captions, so I was just going by the sound of the word *warble*
