Some of my friends have been talking about different interest rates they pay for different things. Having been down the credit card road, I've paid most of the range too, from 0 to 16 pretty much.

And not every card is the same. One may have a lower rate, but require higher minumum payments, or have a fee or etc...

Then a few months back I got an offer for Amex Blue, and having never gotten an Amex card, I hadn't really wanted to dive in to another one (especially after Discover proved to be idiots).

But I gotta say, it's been just great!
A remarkable 3% for a LIFE of a loan!
It is 4% now, but that's still pretty terrific, and even offers 0% for 15 months on purchases.

So if you've got high rates, you might consider them... it's given me a big sigh of relief. ^v^

I think that you should go for the 0% thing for a few months... then when that one is about to run out you can get another card with the same kind of deal. I'm back to playing that kind of game now cause of bills.

To 16%? Hehehe... You Americans have such low rates. Credit Cards here range up to 32%!

Most of the cheapies hover around 12-13%

A common rate for a CC is between 16-24%

Oh, for a 4% loan...
