quick rant

Online shopping carts that require a username-password-login-profile JUST TO BUY A PAPER CLIP.... SUCKETH!

on the other hand...

Online shopping carts that simply let you pay for your tchochkies (with your credit card or checking acct or otherwise) and then allow you to simply go happily along your way (without having to store and remember separate information for every merchant you visit on the WWW, or get on their mailing list) are AWESOME!

(and those ones get my business).

Why're you buying one paper clip online? :p

Surely you don't expect someone to go to the store for a single paper clip, do you?

Starbucks makes it simple

I found it interesting the forst time I bought coffee at Starbucks with a credit card and discovered that I do *not* have to sign the slip. True, it's less than $2 but it's the only place I've found that lets you buy someting in person with a credit card and not have to sign anything.

What's annoying is I'll most likely lose the username/password and have to create another one the next time I shop there.

Worst thing about shopping on-line is when the shipping and handling fee exceed the actual merchandise. $0.50 for the paper clip, and $3.50 for the shipping and handling. :(

Wow.

Such a vicious rant. Words like "sucketh" and ... well.. "sucketh".

I hope you don't show that 'internal wild bird' to a future Mrs Eagle. Might cause her to take flight.

O.O

*TB hugs the ranting eagle*

Agreed! Especially if the store requires me to create a login just to see what's in my shopping cart, ha! I'll shop elsewhere. Just let me buy what I want and have it shipped where I want. I wouldn't buy something in a bricks-and-mortar store that demanded my name and address just to purchase something, so why accept it online?
