I thought it was a kick to see the envelope on my recent Capital One credit card bill... which it seems is holding a contest to select the National Mascot of the Year.. hehheh!
The envelope also pictures TWELVE current team mascots, including (some whose names I know and some I don't) ... Hey Reb (UNLV), Hokie Bird (VA Tech), Goldy Gopher (U. of Minn.), Testudo (Maryland), Cocky (So. Carolina), Scratch (Kentucky), Big Red (Western Kentucky), Hairy Dawg (Georgia), Monte (Montana), The BIRD (Air Force), Aubie (Auburn U.), and Duke Dog (JMU).

Although I don't usually agree with how the contest turns out, it's still nice to see mascots get more exposure. The commercials are a grin.
