I really like these Willy Wonka Chewy Spreee things....

... they're like Skittles but without the indigestion :}

Though they are getting harder to find around here... Walmart stopped carrying them... so I went to a candy supplier and stocked up... $40 worth!

Alas... he didn't split the helping into smaller bags... and put waaay too much in one... so the other day when I picked it up... sploooosh... lost about half of 'em onto the floor ;_; ... *wilted feathers*....
It was quite a comical floor, I must say. If only it were a jumping ball pit full of these :9

...and they say, don't cry over spilled milk er, spreeeee.......

Yeah, the chewy sprees are great, as are the chewy nerds a.k.a "nerds jelly beans" which made a comeback over the last couple years. I used to really like the normal sprees, but even as a teenager they would hurt my teeth to crunch on. But I always liked the flavors. Skittles are for sure a different type of animal.

Incidentally there also are chewy sweettarts I think... and I recently came to discover giant smarties, which are even served in a giant plastic roll. The only place I found them in person is the convenience store at work though, and I'm pretty sure that guy's not open right now. :P Might be worth a try, though!

Speaking of regional candy, I came across something in Texas called a "Big Cherry" which is a legitimately-sized cherry, surrounded by some maraschino flavored nougat type stuff, over which is poured milk chocolate and then some kind of "crispy stuff" on top. They are SUPER good, and in fact I used to order them online for myself... not for years... I should probably get another box but then I'd just wind up eating them and lately I need to focus on losing more weight, heh. :P

I think I did try the SweetTart chewies once... not easy to find, and didn't bowl me over.. heh...
There's a great store over here called RocketFizz that has SO much obscure candy and toys and sody pop!
