Tonight I learned about cayenne pepper..

This is also an update to the Pizza Place entries.
The one previously named Pizza585 is now called Pie 12 ... and they changed a few things. Firstly, they lowered their price, so now they are the lowest cost build-your-own place I know of in town :)
They also changed it to a 'literally' build your own place... so instead of pointing at stuff as you go down the line and the attendant puts it on the pizza, now they have you put on lil' plastic gloves and do it yourself, like a regular salad bar.

Little did I know that right beside the stuff marked buffalo-chicken, ...was a teeming and delicious looking tray of similar stuff, of which I partook.. and it turned out to be cayenne-chicken 8| !
I was sweating as I drilled though the meal, mildly tasty from the garlic, but staggeringly spicy from the cayenne... eeeepth!

Thank goodness the place had air conditioning!

Cayenne, in fact all hot peppers, make me break out in a sweat just by smelling their intense aroma! I can open a jar of salsa and feel my body reacting to it. That said, I still like a little heat in my foods.

I'd not heard of a build-your-own-pizza place before although I like the idea now.

I also kind of like putting enough cayenne on to leave yourself woozy.

Oofa, I don't care for cayenne either. All heat, no flavor. Or rather, if there is any flavor, I can't taste it because the heat has destroyed me.

Hmm a peppery bird :D we have a chain of places where you can make your own lunches and things called "MYO" although to be fair the pizzas they have aren't really true pizzas.
