heh!
I was all geared up to have a $3.14 pizza-pi at Blaze today, but I was on the road today, and when I drove to a nearby one (in Orange County), apparently they closed at 9 p.m.!! I guess only one(?) Blaze stays open til midnight ..the one near where I work! ;P ah well.. it's still a bargain at $7.65 .. :9

Date: 2015-03-16 09:39 am (UTC)I guess the lesson is, don't have a broken address number! (or in my case, don't take a chance on a different franchise when you don't know if it stays open as late as yours) .. :D !

Date: 2015-03-16 08:31 pm (UTC)But a pizza joint closing at nine? Egad. That's surely against some code of conduct. (When in the Bay next, try Zante's, open until the early hours. Rather good Indian pizza - but Tony's, in North Beach, is the place to go for delicious traditional fare. Or there's Zachary's, by the Rockridge BART, for about the best Chicago stuffed pizza anywhere, including Chicago)

Date: 2015-03-17 08:11 am (UTC)I do take it all a bit in stride though, since the pizza was sooooo cheap, the person I talked to there (after closure) said that the line was still some 60 feet or so long at closing time... so, I dunno if there would have been any time of day at any of the franchises that would have had a reasonable wait-time. Though if you are waiting in line with nice people, you can chat away the time nicely :>
One of the fast food chains had free french fry week some years ago, and I didn't run into lines for that, but other places will have free ice cream day on rare occasion and I s'pect that is a long haul!
