No, really :D

We've got lemons. Billions of lemons.
So I finally made some lemonade.

mmmmm :9

I couldn't drink it all..

But when I put it in the 'fridge, it FROZE!

Nothing else in the 'fridge freezes... not the milk, not the orange juice.. not the soda...

.. is the freezing point of lemonade like 40 F ? .. freaky!

p.s. SOMEBODY PLEASE COME GET ALL THESE LEMONS

What I do is squeeze out lemons, put the juice of 1-2 lemons each in small containers and put them in the freezer.
Whenever I want lemonade, i just get a jug, put in a frozen lemon juice cube, 2 spoons of sugar, BAM! Instant lemonade, and it even gets cooled automatically :D

P.S.: Put some lemons in an envelope and send them over if you have too many!

Maybe someone left the fridge door open by accident? Mom's fridge does that; the door sometimes sticks and doesn't close all the way. Liquids in the back of the fridge are half frozen by morning.

Come get all these lemons you say! YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND *poof* let's make limoncello!
Oh wait, mom's tree is overloaded with lemons too. :-X I made a pie last week, and even though it was wonderfully lemony, it only used 4 lemons.

When live gives you lemons, you use those lemons to burn their house down!

I don't know of any way to actually raise the freezing point of water by adding a common substance to it, although of course salt and similar solutes will lower it. Chances are, as others have noted, the lemonade was in front of the vent and just got colder than everything else.

The notion of "a common substance" might need some definition. According to this site, a surprising substance raises the freezing point of water: Testosterone.
http://www.ehow.com/how_5211895_raise-freezing-point-water.html

But some would say that this substance is all too common.

And Happy Birthday, C_Eagle! I hope that family issues have resolved for the best, and that peace and comfort and good fortune find you and all you care for.

I've noticed uncovered water can get a little extra cooled in the process of evaporation resulting in thin ice on top sometimes.
