So the new Blackberry phone is $199.99 .... look at all those NINES. Wouldn't a buyer rather see zero than nine? Haven't we as a species sort of moved past the 199 mentality? And come on... gasoline is still priced like $4.49 9/10ths instead of $4.50 ... *facepalms*.... Come on vendors, just admit the Blackberry is $200, and stop perpetuating the insult.

:P

In other price news...
I don't usually go in to Albertsons because it is usually the most expensive market in our area.. but it was near my dinner choice, so I took a stroll on in just to see how prices were after all these months away...
eeeesh... still way high on most things 8|
Like... what I went in for... at other stores it's $4 for 34 oz but at Albertsons it's still $4... for just 22 oz .. ;P
That'd be $5.82 for the same amount that's $4 at Ralphs and Vons and Stater Bros.

BUT.
And this is what I wanted to tell you all about!... They are having a preposterous and puzzling sale on some (Post and Quaker) breakfast cereals... $1.88 for huge boxes of it!! And only until April 14th.... so I picked up 2 or 3 months worth of cereal for $15 !!

If cereal is your bag, ya might take a stroll on over there ^v^
Usually I like the Kelloggs Mini-Wheats the best because it's lowest in sodium, but I'm already stocked up on that... so I have a bowl of Mini Wheats for fiber and low sodium and then a bowl of the other for variety.. and that's breakfast .. *tailwags*

Best wishes all! ^v^

One thing I miss about back east is grocery stores with relatively decent prices. I absolutely hate Safeway, as I feel they are worse than Albertsons, and every time I go there seems to be a miserable experience. What I dislike most is how they make you buy more of anything that you really want, by always doing that "Buy 1 get 1 free" thing, and then pricing one item at double what it should be. That's probably why I end up at Wal-Mart so much. Say what you will about them, at least Wal-mart doesn't use deceptive pricing, and doesn't require you to have some sort of "shoppers club" card just to avoid getting ripped off more than normal. Just stay away from the produce there.

What milk do you use? I can't drink cows milk because it interacts with thyroid meds (anytime is too soon, but after 4 hours most of the drug is out of the digestive system to limit damage) and I can't drink soy for the same thyroid reason (and that soy has latex in it, drinking a latex product when you are allergic is a bad idea!)

I usually just moisten it with some water or eat it with milk after the main breakfast hours.

No, it's about $740 if you go for the $199.99 because about $15/month of your 3-year "contract" goes to financing your phone. Other wise it's "only" $650 ($649.99!) if you just outright buy it. :)

Ninety nine bottles of beer on the wall...

Just kid around, but...Yeah! The prices has gone up a lot and the value drops a lot in the supermarkets... but thank for the heads up on the cereals. :-)
