Sometimes you get an icon, sometimes not...

Just wanted ta let y'all knows, this phase of programming LJ is in... well, with my older software, sometimes it lets me use a custom icon, sometimes not ... ;p

...so that's why when commenting, sometimes it's blank if it doesn't let me...

It feels like some kind of lagginess in whatever produces the table of icons, where the writer's page style is set up for that, rather than one of the custom selections involving a plain pulldown menu. Sometimes, that table just doesn't get delivered. Mostly, it's fine, but it's still a bit cumbersome, compared to simply popping up a list (and mine is somewhat tall =:), scrolling, and picking one.

Yeah! I get a lot of lagging while posting as well, everything is like in slow-mo... I missed the old LJ. <:-(

I downloaded a freebie custom icon making software... to my distress! It was a Nazi program... wiping out the 'free-spirited' icon arrangement world of my Macintosh! It forced ALL the icons to line up in a horrid grid pattern! The computer is offline without a modem, so I did not stress too much... just annoyed!
