One of the sets I've been meaning to watch for a couple years is the 'sequel' series to Tezuka's Hinotori film (which I'd bought but hadn't watched).
heh.. It can be frustrating watching Tezuka stuff... I love so many of the designs, they are quite riveting.. especially of the anthro characters (while many of the humans are quite grotesque).. but a great many of the characters in the stories are very idiotic and shallow. ;P People not asking questions when they could ask questions... people assuming stuff and then launching into childish battles... needless tortures and selfishnesses... Verrrry Frustrating... and watching the first set of the series was Very Boring.
But then around chapter 8, along came a wolf anthro character... (ch 9) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwLKufLVp7o
(ch 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6-Lw7fWmPk
If you like Tezuka designs and haven't seen this, it might be worth checking out.

Funny thing though... for a series called "Phoenix"... you really don't see a whole lot of the phoenix... there's like a cameo in each chapter, but as the phoenix itself claims, it's "only there to observe"...
