grrrrrrrrrrrr Email Harvesting!

Went to go make a donation to the Japan tsunami relief... went to TWO different sites (including Red Cross)... and they INSIST on gathering up your email just to send them money!
Email harvesting is so 1997 and I am sick of it! It's not only abuse, it is turning away help. When will the sites learn?? grrrrrr...

Maybe I will try by phone.... ;P

I've found that once you make a donation of any kind ... every charity on the planet bugs the *#%$@ out of you for money.

Really takes the fun out of giving.

Turns out I was able to make a donation directly from the Paypal page... I don't know if they are inclined to be supplying the recipient with an email, but I s'pose it's less likely.. ah well.

We get stacks and STACKS of mail from places where mom used to send money to help animals, and some from places we didn't... but they sold our names to them :/

Yahoo mail has disposable email addresses :) I use one for asking companies for more info, when it gets too spammed I just shut it off.
